Create customer
You should create a customer for one of those reasons:
- You want to associate a customer number to a customer.
- You want to create a delivery schedule to a customer.
- You want to share a catalog to an authorized list of customers.
It is possible to create customers one by one or many at the same time. To do so, go in the customer section
and click on the add button
. Then select how you want to create the customers. 
- Unique: type in the information and click on the create button

- Multiple:
- Download the sample file.
- Fill in the information.
- Select the file to be imported.
- Click on the import button:

Information to create a customer:
| Fields | Descriptions |
| Company name* | Used to identify the company. It is a good idea to make it unique. |
| Email* | Used to send the invitation for sharing a catalog. It has to be unique. |
| Customer number | Customer identification number. It has to be unique. |
| Label | Used to identify a company. Later on, it can be used to search and group for a mass invitation and catalog sharing. |

Customer status
A customer will go through different status. Here are the status:
- Requested: a potential customer asked for you to approve his request for catalog access.
- Rejected: you rejected the request for catalog access from a potential customer.
- Prospect: you created the customer but you have not invited him and he has not registered yet.
- Invited: you invited the customer but he has not registered yet.
- Registered: the customer is registered but has not ordered once.
- Has ordered: the customer has ordered once in one of your catalogs.
